How are you supporting your working moms?

Companies need working moms.

Working moms need support.

Companies striving for long-term success would be remiss not to recognize the importance of attracting, retaining and advancing women within their organizations. In order to do that, family support, including Maternity Leave, must be a priority.

We provide Maternity Leave Coaching for employees + their managers

Why Do Working Moms Need Support?

Becoming a mother is life-changing for women, both personally and professionally. From the unpredictable pregnancies to the immense learning curve that first-time parents face to figuring out how to juggle being a parent along with everything else in your life... it can be a lot to handle.

When you add work into the mix, things can get even more complicated. Returning to work after having a baby (and as the motherhood journey progresses) can be mentally, emotionally and physically challenging. Many parents, particularly moms, feel like their best option may be to leave the workforce to focus on their family. The statistics speak for themselves:

2x

more women left the workforce to become "Stay At Home" Moms in 2023 than in 2022.

of mothers need more flexible work schedules to return to work.

64%

of working moms say the cost of childcare has made them consider leaving the workforce.

52%

of all moms feel burned out by motherhood.

49%

46%

of mothers are seeking therapy.

Why Do Companies Need To Support Working Moms?

Women are effective, valuable leaders.

Compared with men in similar positions, women managers take more action to promote employee well-being such as checking in on team members, helping them manage their workloads, and providing support for those dealing with burnout and work–life challenges.

Employee turnover
is expensive.

The financial cost of turnover is extremely high: it’s estimated that losing an employee can cost a company 1.5-2x the employee’s salary. Then there's loss of productivity, revenue, team morale and company reputation to consider as well.

Without women,
DEI initiative suffer.

Women leaders are more likely than men to champion DEI efforts outside of their normal job responsibilities: 1 in 5 women senior leaders spend a substantial amount of time on DEI work that is not central to their job, compared with less than 1 in 10 men senior leaders.
