Navigating The Daycare Transition With Confidence

I recently sat down with Keesha Kline, Clinical Pharmacist & Founder of Career Meets Mama, to talk all about how working moms can "Navigate The Daycare Transition With Confidence" for another edition of "The Mom Manual."

Keesha is a Clinical Pharmacist, mother of two boys, and runs Career Meets Mama, a company dedicated to connecting and uplifting working moms through motherhood. Her CMM Network is an all-in-one destination for support, friendship, knowledge-sharing, and strategy exchange between working moms. She has recently gone back to work full-time after having her second baby and so I invited her to share her experience and tips for the daycare transition, both from a personal and professional perspective.

During our interview (which you can watch below), Keesha and I shared a lot of simple but impactful ideas for how you can better navigate the daycare transition, whether you are a first-time mom or more experienced. Together we discuss:

▶ Our personal experiences when starting daycare programs with our kids
▶ What kinds of emotions you can expect as a first-time, second-time or even third-time mom
▶ Recommendations for when to start your daycare program vs. your own first day back at work after Maternity Leave
▶ How (and why) to advocate for yourself and your baby's needs to daycare providers
▶ Why embracing your child's caretakers as a part of your village can be life-changing
▶ And more!
